Who Is Jim Brinton?

Jim Brinton is hard to categorize.

Usually he’s a writer (he prefers the unpopular term ‘journalist’). Over time he has been a reporter, an editor, Naval officer, translator of technology for the lay-person, publication consultant, a magazine publisher and a business owner. His interests include fine music, history, military affairs, politics, high technology in general (IT. biotech, nanotech, and aerospace in particular) management issues, European travel, cycling, and (did I mention?) politics. He probably has one of the largest private libraries in town and more CDs than anyone else he knows. One of his considered opinions is that popular music died in 1970.
